On November 3 at 11 PM KST, Mnet revealed the nominees for this year's 'Mnet Asian Music Awards.'
Mnet released the videos announcing the nominees for the award categories such as 'Best Male Artist,' 'Best Female Artist,' 'Best New Male Artist,' 'Best New Female Artist,' 'Best Male Group,' 'Best Female Group,' and more.
Starting this year, the '2021 Mnet ASIAN MUSIC AWARDS (2021 MAMA)' will make a significant change in the judging criteria. New categories 'Worldwide Icon of the Year,' which is one of the four grand prizes, and 'Worldwide Fans' Choice TOP 10' will be added. These awards are going to be the popularity award that solely reflects the voices of global K-pop fans as they will be the ones to select the nominees and the final winners.

The biggest joke of them all is the dance performance solo category LOL. Yea Baekhyun's dance is good but he never performed it and there are no dance practices, so we only see the little parts in the MV. The other dances on that list don't even deserve to be nominated IMO.
Where is Taemin for Advice, Kai for Mmmh, and Hoshi for Spider????? Even last year Taemin lost to Hwasa LOL.
And where is Ateez for group performance? Bro, i hardly like their music but you can't deny their choreography ever LOL
