AKP STAFF

A Pink member Chorong's law firm issued a statement revealing the initial accuser who raised school bullying allegations against the idol member has been forwarded to prosecution.

On November 22nd KST, law firm Taelim who represents Chorong issued a statement that revealed the initial accuser who raised school bullying allegations against her has been forwarded to prosecution. Below is the full statement.

"Hello, this is law firm Taelim who represents A Pink's Chorong. We are writing to announce the police investigation results regarding our client's case.

According to the police reports, the accuser has been forwarded to prosecution for blackmailing based on false information.

The accuser mass mailed the email which contained false information regarding our client's private life to many different reporters back in March 2021. He then insisted our client retire from the entertainment industry after notifying her what he have done. As a legal representative of our client, we sent a cease and desist letter to him, however, he did not stop spreading false information. As a result, we sued him on April 1st, 2021.

The police tried their best to unravel the truth of the case over the course of the last 7 months, including interviewing mutual acquaintances of our client and the accuser. After all, the police decided the accuser should be charged with blackmailing, and thus, the case was forwarded to prosecution.

In addition, the police have also concluded the cross-examination did not confirm if the actual bullying happened despite their multi-faceted investigation.

Our firm will do our best until the case completely gets closed. We are writing in hopes to relieve some of the psychological pains that were inflicted on our client and her fans.

Again, we plead not to spread any rumors or exaggerated information until the case is closed. Further, we will take strict legal measures if you happen to spread allegations based on an unwarranted or one-sided claim online."

Good. Hope this sets a precedent and all false accusers are taken to court and jailed for trying to destroy the careers of idols minding their own business.
