The challenges that actors have to go through when filming a variety show are now more familiar to the viewers. This can be seen in shows like "Three Meals A day," actors Cha Seung Won, Yoo Hae Jin, and Lee Seo Jin, who succeeded in making viewers laugh in a unique way, different from the ways of comedians. It has now become even more common to have either one or 2 actors participating in variety shows.

From that point of view, actress Jeon So Min fits the bill perfectly. Since April 2017, she has been appearing on the variety show "Running Man" for 5 years and on TvN's "Sixth Sense," a seasonal program, and has been showing the viewers her bright smile.

Unlike other female actresses, who often appear for only one appearance, Jeon So Min, who has been appearing on "Running Man" with Song Ji Hyo, has been firmly established, by Yoo Jae Suk, as one of the "most trusted junior comedians(?)."

 An active member of Running Man for the past 5 years 

Although it is no longer in its heyday, SBS' "Running Man" is still one of the network's representative programs. It is still able to attract both domestic and overseas viewers.

Even though it's true that there was a sense of hostility when Jeon So Min first joined the show, Jeon So Min was already active as an actress through MBC's drama "Princess Aurora" (2013), but she wasn't known to the variety viewers yet. At the time, "Running Man" was also going through a hard time due to a decline in popularity and rumors of a Season 2. However, the concerns about Somin were forgotten. 

With her ability to be daring and act like she always belonged there, her fanbase gradually began to grow, as she showed her unpredictable sense of entertainment.

Along with Lee Kwang Soo and Yang Sechan, they presented a special kind of chemistry and proved that she was indispensable, and along with her outspokenness, she proved herself. 

In the episode aired on the 10th, which had a Mafia theme, she played a key role in the game whilst faithfully fulfilling various tasks that included missions like "Acrostic Poems" that were assigned by the production team.

"Sixth Sense 2" is one of Sixth Sense Girls' High School's main pillars

Jeon So Min's excellent sense of entertainment also shined in TvN's "Sixth Sense 2." In the seasonal entertainment show, "Sixth Sense 2," she works alongside Producer Jeong Chul Min and Yoo Jae Suk, who have all shown excellent chemistry since working together on the show "Running Man."

She became part of the "Sixth Sense Girls' High School" alongside Oh Na Ra, Jessi, and Mijoo (Lovelyz), and is currently taking charge. 

The conversations of the four members are controlled by "their homeroom teacher," Yoo Jae Suk. Their noisy conversations, which show up every week, are enough to bring out the fun of the show. In the show, the cast is required to perform missions and determine the real and fake. Jeon So Min's high winning rate also gives the production team a headache. 

In the episode "find the suspicious counsellor," which aired on the 3rd, she showed her tears, which made viewers sympathize and comfort her.

Her absurd honesty is the secret reason why she's a popular variety star

Recently, Jeon Somin has been working as both an entertainer and an actress. Jeon So Min can be seen in upcoming projects, TV Chosun's "Show Window," JTBC's "Cleaning Up," and KBS' "TV Cinema - Heesu."

Jeon Somin has been showing off the range of her talents and abilities whilst crossing over two different environments, drama and variety.

It is by no means easy to jump into a show like "Running Man," which already had an established fandom. It can be easy to get hurt by malicious comments from toxic fans who are too over-immersed in the program, but Jeon So Min has always been extremely passionate and is participating actively in the program and helped the show to increase its value.
