Actress Han Ye Seul donated 50 million KRW (~$43,366.30) to help with the recovery from COVID-19.

According to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, a relief organization specializing in disaster fundraising, Han Ye Seul had recently donated 50 million KRW to the association through her agency. She asked the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to use her donation for the citizens who are alienated and in need of help due to COVID-19.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association is a purely private organization founded in 1961 by newspapers, broadcasters, and social organizations nationwide and the only legal relief organization that can support the relief fund for natural disasters in Korea.

Last year, the association raised 97.4 billion KRW (84.5 Million USD) in donations to help those in need overcome the COVID-19 and delivered nearly 26 million items to vulnerable people, medical staff, and patients of treatment facilities.
