Previously, comedian Hong Hyun Hee was accused of being a school bully by an anonymous netizen in an online community.
After the allegations, Bliss Entertainment denied the allegations and stated that "the recent school bullying rumors being spread as a result of a particular online community post are not true. The writer of this post has brought up such allegations numerous times in the past, targeting Hong Hyun Hee."
Bliss Entertainment warned that they would be proceeding with legal action soon in order to protect their artist from ongoing rumors and malicious attacks.
Then on March 12th, the agency revealed that they would be dropping the charges after Hong Hyun Hee met with the accuser in person and received an apology. The agency revealed that they had filed a legal complaint on the 11th, but the accuser contacted the agency in response to Hong Hyun Hee's request to meet in person.
The two met and the accuser apologized for spreading misinformation.
Previously, the accuser claimed Hong Hyun Hee and her band of girls bullied them by calling them ugly, cursing, and playing crude jokes. However, Hong Hyun Hee responded with, "I literally looked the same as I do now back in high school. With what nerve would I have called anyone else ugly? It's nonsense. I have nothing to hide. In fact, let's talk in person."
She's more generous than I am! If it were me I'd sue them senseless to set an example for all the other malicious aholes intent on ruining the career of others.
