South Korea’s second largest music platform, Genie Music crowns BTS’s Jungkook as the #1 artist born in the Year of Ox whose solo activity is the most anticipated this year. 

Jungkook was announced as the winner after he received the most votes (33.5%), followed by Blackpink’s Rosé at second place, Baek Yerin at third, Astro’s Cha Eunwoo at fourth and Golden Child’s Jangjun at fifth. 

As one of the prizes for this win, Genie will donate to Community Chest of Korea a sum of 10 million won (USD 9,000) under Jungkook’s name. Genie will also post a banner and a special page on its platform for the Golden Maknae.

This win had further proved people’s huge anticipation for Jungkook’s solo activity and mixtape. Whether it’s from his home country South Korea or internationally, fans couldn’t stop expressing how much they are looking forward to it.
