Jung So Min is in talks to star in 'Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi' alongside Jo Byung Kyu.
On January 27, reports revealed Jung So Min had been cast as the female lead in the upcoming historical drama 'Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi'. However, her label Blossom Entertainment clarified, "She received an offer to star in the drama, and she's reviewing it. Nothing has been confirmed."
If cast, Jung So Min will be playing the role of Kim Jo Yi, a woman too modern for her time who dreams of getting a divorce and starting anew. Jo Byung Kyu was previously confirmed to be in talks to play male lead Ra Yi Yeon. Though Ra Yi Eon is the youngest ever royal inspector to rank 1st on the state exams, he has no goals for the future.
'Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi' is set to premiere later this year.
