'Your Eyes Tell' is an original soundtrack (OST) of a Japanese movie with the same name. As widely known, Jungkook co-composed and co-wrote the OST and he previously mentioned that he actually made the melody originally for his mixtape. Since it came out exceptionally good, it was added to BTS Japanese album 'Map Of The Soul: 7 - The Journey' instead. 

'Your Eyes Tell' has been making success, especially in the Japanese music market, ever since its release on July 14th. It charted at #1 on iTunes Japan, surpassed the most popular Japanese singer and chart digimon Kenshi Yonezu's new song. 

The OST charted at #1 on popular Japanese charts, ie. LINE Music Daily and Real-time, Mora Daily and Real-time, also Recochoku Daily, which is harder for K-pop acts to infiltrate. It also debuted at #1 on Oricon Daily chart with 13,089 sales, which became BTS's highest debut sales on this chart. 

'Your Eyes Tell' also became the biggest streaming debut on Oricon for a Korean act in history with 5.1million streams before 'Dynamite' took over the throne. The OST debuted at #8 on Billboard Hot100 Japan also hit #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales. 

'Your Eyes Tell' is also the fastest song by an Asian act to reach 100 #1's on iTunes and the first BTS song to top all 8 biggest music markets on iTunes.

This week on Billboard Japan Hot 100, 'Your Eyes Tell' is charting at #81. This marks the OST's 15th week on the chart, proving its longevity and solid popularity in Japan.

2 other songs in which Jungkook co-composed and co-wrote in the 'BE' album, i.e., 'Stay' and 'Telepathy,' are also charting on Billboard Japan Hot 100 at #85 and #76 respectively. 

'Your Eyes Tell,' 'Stay,' and 'Telepathy' are also charting on Billboard Japan Streaming Songs at #62, #56, and #51 respectively. 'Your Eyes Tell' has been charting for 20 consecutive weeks on Billboard Japan Streaming Songs. It seems like its popularity won't die down anytime soon.
