South Korea’s Brand King Park Jimin is doing it again!
Jimin leads the sales of BTS’s Wall Street Journal magazine Innovator’s Edition in South Korea. As of November 19, Jimin’s cover magazine ranked #1 among solo sales on Korea’s main platforms, such as Yes24, Aladdin, Interpark, and Kyobobook. Jimin’s strong brand power has a large gap for his sales index vis-à-vis that over the other members.
South Korea’s King of Kpop and It Boy has received overwhelming support from his own country as Jimin continues to lead the sales even at the time of this writing. Fans from Korea cannot wait to get hold of their copy of the magazine with Jimin’s “iconic” photo on the cover. It can be remembered that WSJ’s editor Myles Tanzer expressed his admiration for Jimin and called Jimin cover to be very, very iconic.
On November 12, BTS has been awarded the “2020 Music Innovator Award at Wall Street Journal’s 2020 Music Innovator of the Year Award. As such, BTS, as awardees, took the cover of their November issue. They released 8 versions of the magazine with different covers. One for the entire group and the other 7 is one for each member.
