Rapper B-Free has apologized to BTS and Army for his past comments.
In 2013, the rapper had participated in 'Kim Bong Hyun's Hip Hop Invitational 1st Anniversary' broadcast and questioned BTS Suga and RM's choices of debuting as idols stating, "Is BTS' music hip hop? Is wearing makeup like a girl on stage hip hop?" He then asked how the members met and said, "You guys could also have taken the path of becoming real rappers but I guess you couldn't beat the temptation of becoming idols."
The fans, angry about his comments asked him to apologize and he said, "I didn't think I had such an impact on many people but anyways, if you're that pissed off and thinking about what I said for over 20 minutes you need to find yourself a boyfriend."
The rapper posted an apology on Twitter on the 14th to address his past comments and said, "To BTS and their fans I am so sorry for all the emotional pain I’ve caused. Please forgive me. Wish the best. I’m incredibly sorry to BTS and BTS’s fans for my past actions. I thought that I’d be able to say this face-to-face one day but…for now, I’ll express my thoughts like this.”
In 2016, he also stated he would "Bitch Slap" the group.

- [+2,391, -11] He called BTS 'BTS b*tches' and humiliated them in other extreme ways right to their faces. He's only apologizing now because he wants attention so please don't feed the troll.
- [+986, -8] ^^ We told him to don't even bother apologizing but of course he never listens ^^
- [+560, -1] Who?
- [+445, -2] Why is this in the celebrity news section when no one knows who he is...
- [+371, -4] Nugu..
- [+123, -0] Suga was 20 and Namjoon was 19 at the time, and it still makes me upset to think of them staying quiet while listening to him, though I'm sure being rookies had a lot to do with their intimidation as well ㅜ BTS has earned their justice and that's all that matters. He needs to stop talking and apologizing.
- [+116, -2] I still can't watch that video of him dissing them. He said so many rude things to their faces and I just don't think I can stand to watch the facial expressions of the kids.
- [+101, -2] I think I remember him saying that BTS became more famous because he dissed them ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ he's so pathetic, just ignore the troll

1. I feel something ironic.
2. He is a Korean rapper, right? Why does he not write in Korean?
3. ????? He will not apologize if BTS unsuccessful.
4. I really hate him.
5. These days, do people apologize through SNS? He should apologize directly to BTS.
6. He’s trying to get attention, he’s a failed hip hop artist.
7. At that time, Bang Si Hyuk was so angry that Bang Si Hyuk went to his company because Bang Si Hyuk wanted to talk. He is a trash man.
8. Does he hear ‘Mic Drop’? Don’t apologize because he is not eligible now.
9. I’m not a fan, but I feel sad whenever I look at BTS’s face at that time. I wonder how they feel at the time.
10. He will not apologize if BTS is not as popular as it’s now. So bitter
11. 5 years later, why now? …..
12. Suddenly???? So funny! ㅋㅋㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ ㅋㅋㅋ
13. Success is the best revenge is right.
14. I don’t know who he is because I’m not a BTS fan, but when I see Koreans apologize to Koreans and see everything in English, his apology has no sincerity.
15. I don’t even know who B-Free is …

For people who dont know or weren't fans of BTS Suga and Rapmon were famous underground rappers in Korea and in this video B-Free called this sell outs to become idols. Because at this time underground becoming idols was unheard of and idol rappers weren't taken that seriously. This is why Rapmon look so sad because he thought this was a safe space. And I have to hand it to him because he stood by group.
BTS had just started and was burly getting any recognition to the point they almost disbanded. They even did a hidden video asking Rapmon would he either stay with the group or go solo. And he said he would stay with group because he believed in them.
A lot of new BTS fans don't know all the things BTS went through at the beginning of their career and were really a one of a kind group. With writing their own lyrics, and being able to perform such difficult choreography without losing their voice. BTS truly deserves everything they worked for.
