Amy has made an official apology to Wheesung after her former drug allegations.
In April, the former entertainer alleged Wheesung was tied to her Propofol use, which the singer's reps denied and he personally spoke out against.
On May 22, Amy posted the following apology on Instagram:
"In the past, Wheesung and I were best friends, and we were both patients at the same hospital once. At the time, he was being treated with drugs, and I misunderstood. The misunderstanding was cleared up later, but Wheesung was being prescribed drugs for treatment. That fact has already been supported by investigations. I was also in a situation that made me misunderstand that it was drug use. Both Wheesung and I knew an acquaintance around that time though we weren't aware of what he did for a living. When I was being investigated by the police, the acquaintance drove over to my house and caused a threatening situation, which led to me misunderstanding. I didn't have the chance to think. Wheesung did not know about this at all, and I learned he had nothing to do with it. A lot of time passed with misunderstandings on top of misunderstandings, and I think I said what I did because I couldn't handle the fear anymore. After talking with him, I learned I was also a victim, and I have an apologetic heart to Wheesung, who tried to understand me as a friend. In addition, I will try to live in reflection and put all of this behind me."
She mentioned Wheesung (including he and him) 8 times, and she mentioned "I" and "me" 19 times in her apology statement. This explains why she didn't think it through before making the allegation to someone. In this statement, she just says the false allegation is caused by a misunderstanding. She doesn't even mention that her ruthless action caused Wheesung's suffering in the statement. It implies she doesn't keep anyone's life in mind. it is not an apology. It is more like "I need people to focus on me".
