MONSTA X & Steve Aoki's 'Play It Cool' English version will be out this week!

On March 18, producer/DJ Steve Aoki announced that an English version of his collaboration track with MONSTA X will be out this Friday, March 22!
Track #4 from MONSTA X's recently released 2nd full album 'Take.2 - We Are Here' marked the boy group's first ever collaboration with the American producer/DJ, and fans can now look forward to an all-English version.
I loved the original, but I'll be interested to see how the English itself turns out for this track. I know these artists do this to appeal to their Western audiences, which is fine. However, I was a bit disappointed with some of the lines in the English version of 'Shoot Out'. It wasn't quite to the level of cringe-worthy that some were pointing out, but the flow just wasn't as solid as the original Korean version, or even the Japanese version that came after. Some of it was pronunciation, but more so for me it was just the translation they chose to use. The flow of the wording didn't always sync as well as it could have if they'd reworded a few phrases, which would have worked better in English. I wish them well though, glad to see them finally seeing more results after such a lengthy period of time.
