According to Big Hit Entertainment on October 18, BTS have renewed their contracts with Big Hit for another 7 years. Currently, BTS are in their 6th year of promotions since their 2013 debut, meaning that they still have one more year to go in their initial contracts. However, it seems that Big Hit Entertainment decided to offer the members of BTS a firm and innovative step, moving forward in their successful careers.
Big Hit stated, “With deep trust and affection as the basis of our decision, BTS have decided to renew their contracts with us for 7 years. It is Big Hit’s philosophy that an artist who is showcasing immense achievements worldwide deserves to be treated with the best type of treatment. Through lengthy discussions, the 7 members of BTS decided to renew in order to ensure their long-lasting, stable careers. We plan on strengthening the size and capacity of the current staff team in charge of BTS, which numbers over 100 team members as of now, and we promise to not withhold our most wholehearted, systematic support and investments toward BTS.”
BTS also revealed through their label, “We greatly admire our mentor Bang Si Hyuk, who envisioned our careers from before our debut to now, and even for the future to come, and who opened our eyes to not only the world of music, but also to our outlook on life. We will do our best with Big Hit Entertainment, who has supported us unconditionally all these years, in order to show our fans worldwide an even better image.”
Best of luck to BTS for another 7 years!
Ok but see this new community thing is really annoying already. Because now you have to look out for the authors of the articles. I read the title of this article and my first thoughts were "Is this a troll article?" or a "delulu and unconfirmed fan article?". You just can't shake the mistrust towards every article now, because you don't know if it's a user-made article or an actual hired reporter behind it. Unless you know who's hired reporters and who aren't, but I don't :/ I only remember the names of 2 hired reporters. And based on the content alone, I can't actually judge the reliability of this, since no source link is given for me to research myself...
Sorry for talking about something unrelated here. Congrats to BTS, Bighit and ARMY if this is true!
