WINNER's Kang Seung Yoon revealed why he felt anxious while filming 'Youth Over Flowers'.
On the second episode of tvN's 'Secret Garden', a personality test was carried out and indicated Kang Seung Yoon to be the most rational or least impulsive out of the entire cast and like to work diligently within his own standards or norm but also tends to close himself off from others. Hearing this, Sung Si Kyung asked if the idol had ever deviated or did anything without planning ahead. Kang Seung Yoon stated he once cut off contact with everyone for just a day to hang out with friends when he was a trainee.
He was then asked if he had ever traveled alone and if there is anywhere he would like to visit. To both questions, the idol said no. He explained, "People around tells me to go travel, meet people, and just go play. But I can't relate and I'm scared." He continued, "Why I became like this is because when I was on the audition program ('Superstar K'), I suddenly received a lot of attention while I was still a non-celebrity and during that time, there was a lot of hate thrown at me. From then, I started to develop a sense of constraint and I became someone who couldn't have a free/non-constrained life."
"Recently, through a show called 'Youth Over Flowers', I went on a trip with the rest of WINNER members. It was really good. But even then while filming, I felt uneasy/anxious and couldn't fully enjoy myself," Kang Seung Yoon finished.
