On April 5, Lee Seung Wook's agency confirmed that the rookie actor has decided to end his acting career following his debut film 'Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum'. The news was shocking, especially because the cast of 'Gonjiam' was starting to gain attention following the movie's success.

As a result, various reports and rumors started circulating about Lee Seung Wook's sudden leave. In response, Lee Seung Wook personally addressed the issue via his fan cafe on April 6. The actor stated, 

"Hello, this is Lee Seung Wook.

The rumors and the reports that are becoming an issue right now, you don't have to worry about them. This is all I can say at the moment. I trust in myself. Everything will work out! So don't worry! The person of the issue is leaving a message like this. I love you all."

Meanwhile, 'Gonjiam' attracted more than 1 million moviegoers in just 5 days.
