On the February 21 airing of MBC's 'Radio Star', Bobby revealed that YG is not as free as many think. He said, "YG may seem very family-like and free but the regulations are so strict."

Bobby explained, "You even have to report when you're going to the convenience store in front of the dorm. I'm 24-years-old but it's like saying, 'Daddy I'm going to the store'."

When asked if he owns a car, Bobby said he doesn't and also shared that iKON still have a dating ban, and are not allowed to obtain a driver's license.

Bobby then said, "I'm not the observant type (who minds others' views) but I am becoming one because I get criticized a lot. I want to write a strong hip-hop track but I come to think, 'It's not gonna get released anyway'."
