JOO received an opportunity to explain why she decided to appear on the show before performing. She said, "Honestly, the reason why I wanted to become a singer first was that I wanted to be an idol and prepared for it. But I ended up making my debut as a ballad singer. I was first hesitant on coming on the show because I thought the general public would be a little taken back or reluctant seeing it as I am a ballad singer. However, I wondered if there would be another opportunity if I don't do it now."
