According to an exclusive report by The Hollywood Reporter, Amazon is in the negotiation stage of streaming a new global competition program titled 'K-Pop: The Search for the Next K-Pop Superstar'.

'K-Pop: The Search for the Next K-Pop Superstar' will be a competition program in which the contestants around the globe compete for a recording contract with a major Korean entertainment agency. Training for singing, dancing, acting, and style will take place with a panel of judges and mentors.
"The series will be executive produced by Arthur Smith (Hell's Kitchen, American Ninja Warrior) and Toby Gorman (American Idol) for A. Smith & Co. Productions, Arnold Rifkin (Live Free or Die Hard) for Cheyenne Enterprises, and Jesse James Dupree (Mighty Loud Entertainment) and Justin Lee (CJ Entertainment)", stated The Hollywood Reporter.
