He believed the second season featuring male trainees would be as successful as the first. Ryan Jhun revealed why he thought the first season did well, saying, "Everyone took it as if it were a life or death situation. It felt like I was seeing a past reflection of myself." Ryan Jhun commented, "Jung Chae Yeon is a really hard worker. I was very thankful for Jeon So Mi's great efforts. There was no doubt in my mind that Jeon So Mi would rise to stardom." He went on, "She's humble, has a bright personality, and she's just full of talent. It was only truth that she would become a celebrity, so her popularity is no surprise to me."
