Joy expressed her thankfulness to a sunbae who helped Red Velvet this year!
On the December 8 airing of 'Yang and Nam Show,' Joy and Irene thanked Kangta. Joy explained, "Kangta gave us a lot of advice."

She talked about this year's promotions, saying, "This year, our promotion was so short. It was only about 3 weeks. I wonder how it would've been if it were a little bit longer."
Joy added, "When we returned, many people were worried. They said, your concept is getting weirder and weirder. During that time, Kangta told us, 'you guys are doing great. There's nothing wrong with going a little slowly.'"
