Rapper Sleepy revealed he thought SECRET's Hyosung was too fat to debut.
On the November 29th episode of 'Video Star', Sleepy and Tony Ahn featured as guests and spoke about Hyosung. Tony Ahn said, "It's hard to speak of Hyosung. Seven years ago, she was chubby, so I felt comfortable around her. Now, she's matured."
The hosts then added, "Sleepy said Hyosung was very fat during her Five Girls' (Ohsonyeo) days. He said he didn't know she'd become a sexy star."
Sleepy explained, "During her trainee days, she wasn't the girl Tony Ahn saw 7 years ago. At the time, I wondered whether she would even debut. I thought she'd succeed with a cute image because she looked cute when she smiled."
