Hello. This is CUBE Entertainment.
We are writing this to let you know that Cube's global boy group Pentagon's Shinwon sustained an injury to his left knee that stretched the ligament on his right knee, so he will be taking a break from promotions.
We are very disappointed and sorry to relay this sudden injury news of Shinwon to fans who love Pentagon.
During the 'V' app broadcast on the evening on the 22nd, Shinwon said he had pain on his right knee. He was rushed to the nearby hospital for diagnosis and treatment. According to the hospital, the injury is not serious, but it was suggested that he do not partake in any strenuous activity such as exercise or movement, and to keep eye on the recovery. We decided that his complete recovery was the best, and so Shinwon will be taking a break from broadcast.
Shinwon wanted to see fans even though his knee was not in the best condition, so he used crutches to attend the fansigning on the 23rd. We will notify you of his return to promotions according to the status of his treatment.
We once again express our sorry to the fans who love Shinwon, and we promise he will be back when he is healed. We are also letting you know that Pentagon will promote as a 9 member group until Shinwon is recovered. Thank you.
Get better soon, Shinwon!
