As viewers of the drama know, Nana received a lot of criticism when news of her casting made headlines, but she soon won over the drama's audience with her apt acting, winning praise instead. On the September 2nd broadcast of 'Taxi', MC Lee Young Ja said to Nana, "You did it. I was nervous you'd leave the drama at around the 5th episode."
Nana commented, "I think I was so happy during the time. I was very happy preparing, and I was so happy I met my sunbaes. I'm disappointed when I think about the fact it's over." She also mentioned, "Right before I joined the drama, I received a lot of criticism. I just didn't match the image. Only after the first episode did I see good comments. I don't usually read comments, but because this was a really important project to me, I did."
Co-star Jeon Do Yeon then revealed, "I was so surprised after I saw the malicious comments following news of Nana's casting, and I called her. We were all happy Nana received good feedback after the first broadcast. It was gratifying."
