On August 23, KeyEast stated, "The accuser's sexual assault allegations are false. Uhm Tae Woong will dutifully participate in investigations should the police request his presence."
More details surrounding the alleged sexual assault and the alleged victim have also been revealed. Accuser A, a woman in her 30s, claims to have been assaulted by Uhm Tae Woong back in January after he came in for a massage alone. She reportedly told police, "Our establishment is not a massage parlor that participates in prostitution, but I was assaulted by a male celebrity."
It's further been reported A is currently under arrest for fraud in another case. She's said to have been under court custody since July 12, which is 3 days before she made her claims against Uhm Tae Woong.
Police have stated, "We haven't even questioned the accuser yet, and we don't know the exact circumstances. We cannot let you know whether A is currently under arrest as it has nothing to do with this case."
