F.T. Island's Minhwan says he likes being called an idol

In a recent interview, F.T. Island addressed several topics on their journey as an idol band.

When asked about the public referring to them as an idol band, Minhwan answered, "These days, I really like hearing myself being called an idol. Just 3 years ago, I despised it... but being an idol means being someone that teens and youths look up to. To be someone looked up to be youths in their 10's, we have to be respectable and trustworthy, but we're really not like that. We live more freely. But these days, the term idol has a certain glow to it, so I really like it."
