According to Yonhap, the social media service had broken down the contents that had gone viral into domestic and international categories, and announced that K-Pop was the most mentioned and most commented topic on Instagram across the globe. K-Pop was reported to have surpassed other popular musical genres such as hip-hop, rock, R&B, and EDM.�
