A report regarding how one Taiwanese fan spent thousands of dollars on chocolate for a chance to take a picture with Lee Min Ho has been eliciting much attention.
On December 14, Taiwanese media outlet Apple Daily reported that a Lee Min Ho fan identified as Li had purchased around $3,400 USD of chocolate at a Lee Min Ho fan meet event planned and sponsored by a famous chocolate brand. The receipts from Li's huge purchase were said to have amounted to a total of 3,300 entries.
Li had bought the chocolates at the event to obtain the most amount of entries into a raffle for a chance to be one of the three lucky people to take a picture with Lee Min Ho.

However, Li sensed something was awry when she wasn't one of the lucky three selected. Li became suspicious of the selection process and asked the sponsor to view the recorded footage filmed at the event. When her request wasn't answered, Li threatened that she would hire a lawyer. The sponsor hasn't responded to Li since.
Regarding this matter, the sponsor told media outlets, "We can't reveal the clip and related material but if there are consumers with questions they can contact the promoter [of the event] and personally view the clip."
