TASTY announced through their official Weibo, "Hello. This is Daeryong and Soryong. We are here to let you know that our 8 years of activity in Korea has come to an end. There are many aspects that we could not negotiate on with the company, and after much thought, we have made this decision." They also added, "Although our activities in Korea have come to an end, our music career is not stopping. We will continue our music activities."
Woollim Entertainment told media outlets, "We are flustered. We are waiting for TASTY to contact us."
"We are shocked that TASTY have wrote such words on SNS without consulting the company. TASTY were planned for a comeback back in June and promote in both Korea and China. The recording was already completed and we had even scheduled broadcast appearances when the duo suddenly left for China and cut off contact in early June," a rep further explained.
With fans surely worried about this situation, the agency assured that they will do their best to remedy the issue. "Whatever the case, TASTY is still our agency artist, so we are awaiting them to reach out to us and we will do our best to find a solution to this matter."
