According to YG Entertainment, the world star and Yang Hyun Suk recently met up to talk, which means that Psy's comeback is that much closer.
Yang Hyun Suk is also said to have relayed, "For the past two years, Psy had lost his identity and was confused from wondering whether he was a Korean singer or an American singer. I was the same. After 'Gangnam Style', we worried about both Korea and America while making 'Gentlemen' and 'Hangover'. So we've been regretting and reflecting on that as we think that is perhaps why Psy's unique style and coolness weren't able to be properly shown."
Psy stated, "The time I spent in different places around the world while receiving the treatment of a world star was a good experience. But the time I performed at small university festivals and was in harmony with young people were when I was happiest in my life."
An agency rep also further explained, "More than anything, Psy is expressing his will to promote in Korea first. With that in mind, for the past two years the 'writer's block' he previously had is now gone and ideas are flowing in very well."

It looks like Psy and Yang Hyun Suk have taken on a different mindset compared to the recent years. It also sounds as if this means they will be returning to Psy's roots and focusing on his unique style, rather than worrying about following up the success of "Gangnam Style".
