The prosecution updated on the case involving actress Lee Si Young and their search to find the original perpetrators who started the rumor and spread the fake sex tape of the actress.

On July 30, prosecution revealed that the official investigation, which began back on July 3, is now 95% complete and that they've been backtracking through various posts online to narrow down the original source.

A rep from the prosecutors stated, "It took us a whole month to just to wring out the first forty circulators at the early stage.  Considering that the messages received were at 30 second to 1 minute intervals, the rate calculates out to about 1-2 days of work for us to cover a one minute interval of when the rumors started spreading."

Initially, they did not want to use legal force, and rather progress the investigation through the others' agreement and consent; however, the people in relation to the case refused to talk, so the investigators took an extra step by resorting to seize and search.
