The joint Korean-Chinese show that we've been hearing about since some time ago shared some still cuts recently with the announcement that Girl's Day's Yura is serving as the MC!
The audition program 'Super Idol' is a joint project between Korea's 'MBC MUSIC' and China's 'TV ZONE'. The show will feature idol trainees who will focus on promoting in China once they debut. The show will help rear the trainees into their debut, as the trainees compete with one another and complete missions. They've been filming for the premiere taking place this month.
A representative from 'Super Idol' said, "Yura is adding to the abundant fun of 'Super Idol' as an MC with her smooth hosting and upbeat charms. You'll be able to see a new side of Yura, not as the idol Yura, but as the host Yura, and see the Korean and Chinese youth working towards their dreams. We ask for a lot of anticipation for the first episode of the joint Korean-Chinese global audition program 'Super Idol'."
