During the showcase for her fifth mini-album 'Rebirth', which was held at Gangnam District's Shinsa-Dong Apgujeong, Seo In Young dished on various topics related to her comeback intriguing all those who've been awaiting this diva's return! One topic that especially caught interest was the concept or background behind her new song "Lies".

The singer expressed, "The song contains my experiences [with dating]. [In my experience], dating has always been messy and I end up sad. Maybe I'm approaching love the wrong way. Work is easy but love is hard. It hasn't been long since my last breakup."
She explained further, "When I love, I tend to devote my all and pour forth my passion, which makes me the one to hurt in the end. I have no regrets but I understand the feelings of other women. My friends asked, 'Did you write the lyrics [for this song]?' This song represents the feelings of women [who are sad due to love]. It expresses the sentiments of women who become weak when they love."
