When asked about how they created "Bae Bae," the members revealed that they were discussing the age when a woman was the most beautiful and they decided that it would be around 25 or 26. The lyrics to the song "Bae Bae" go, "You're forever 25."

"Bae Bae" was previously reported to be a joint effort, composed by G-Dragon, Teddy, and T.O.P. The members sing about how they want their beautiful relationship with their romantic partner to last forever.
G-Dragon was then asked if the song was inspired by his alleged relationship with Kiko Mizuhara, since she had also just turned 25 years old this year. However, veteran artist G-Dragon brushed off the question professionally and asked back, "Kiko is 25 years old?" T.O.P then intervened and said, "I wrote that line."
G-Dragon continued, "At first, the theme of the song was 25 years old, but we realized that it wasn't appropriate [for us] to suggest that women look best only when they're 25. So we just wrote the lyrics based on the feelings of not wanting to lose the passion and the freshness that we have when we are around that age. Including '25 years old' in the lyrics is just one of the many interesting elements [of the song]."
In the same interview, T.O.P and Taeyang revealed that they are willing to continue under YG Entertainment and CEO Yang Hyun Suk for ten more years if the opportunity was right.
When asked about Yang Hyun Suk's past comment about wanting to work with Big Bang for ten more years, T.O.P replied coolly, "If the opportunity arises."
Taeyang added, "If there are good opportunities under the right conditions. We've talked about this amongst our members; we release albums and promote because we like doing it and we think that it is good enough [to be released]. If we can continue to do it well, then of course we can go on [working under YG]. We don't like to do things because we need to."
Meanwhile, Big Bang recently made their comeback with "Loser" and "Bae Bae" from their 'MADE SERIES.'
