B2ST's Hyunseung recently had an interview with OSEN where he talked about his future as a singer and who he looks up to!
He was asked, "What kind of artist do you want to be remembered as?"
Hyunseung replied, "To be the real deal after I turn 30. I didn't know before, but as I've turned 27 (25 internationally) and I'm getting closer to 30, I'm getting a reality check. So I've been thinking a lot about not what I'm doing now, but what I'm capable of doing. I've thought a lot about what I should do while I'm alive, but then why am I worrying? My conclusion is that I want to sing and dance even after I'm 30."
He added, "I can't sing and dance forever, and I don't want to fall into acting because I can't help it but I want to try it naturally. And for people to listen to my songs when I release an album and to come to see my performances. My goal is to become a singer who will still be active even as I get older. Personally, I think J.Y. Park is amazing."
When asked about the type of music he wants to do as a solo artist, he said, "Instead of music that most people prefer and are comfortable with, I want to be a little stubborn and try 'mania' music. The base of my character is hip-hop and R&B, but I want to try mania music and satisfy people's hearts with it. I want to try music that will receive applause from both the public and supporters."
