Super Junior's Kangin is undergoing investigation for not attending reserve forces training.
On April 16, the Super Junior member was investigated by police for failing to report to even one session of reserve forces training. The investigation initially started on the 9th, and though Kangin has been assessed 72 hours of training during the past 2 years, he has reportedly not participated in one training session.
An insider from the reserve forces commented, "You have three chances, and if you are absent from those, you will get prosecuted. Maybe because he's left the country often or otherwise busy, he hasn't been able to see the notices and wasn't able to participate."
A rep from SM Entertainment has also come forward to confirm that the reports were true. The rep stated, "He wasn't able to attend due to personal issues. We'll make sure this does not happen again in the future."
In other news, 10cm member Kwon Jung Yeol is also being investigated for the same reason.
