Kim Sae Eui, a journalist and chairman of the MBC labor union, is currently receiving scrutiny over his recent Facebook post where he bashed SISTAR's Hyorin, saying that she has an excessive love for God and cats.
After watching the January 23 airing of MBC's 'I Live Alone,' Kim Sae Eui wrote on his Facebook, "Even someone like me who likes animals and girl groups would get tired of SISTAR's Hyorin who comes out on 'I Live Alone.' The concept was badly chosen. For one, I've raised cats before so I have a slight aversion to cats, but a woman who only looks to God and cats the whole day is tiresome. You should do things in moderation. Religious faith in moderation and loving animals in moderation. From now on, I hope I don't see Hyorin on MBC variety shows."
The status above was written and set as public for everyone to see and have access to. Since the day of posting, the post has been reuploaded and reblogged multiple times on various online communities and forums.
Netizens and fans of Hyorin were furious when they discovered the post and fired back, saying that a public figure like him should not be writing such negative comments for everyone to see just because something didn't suit his personal tastes.
Meanwhile, a representative of MBC revealed to online media outlet The Fact that they had not been aware of what had happened and will get back to them after grasping the details of the situation.
