The actor visited Siem Reap, Cambodia on a 5-night-and-6-day trip from November 26 to December 1 and met his sponsored child Chek Pek (male, 14). There, he witnessed how Chek Pek never lost his cheerful personality and was full of dreams despite his environment. The actor spent 2 days constructing the outer wall of a house for Chek Pek's family. He also visited Chek Pek's school where he met other children and gifted them with stationery that was prepared by his fans from Japan.

Song Jae Rim shared, "Through this visit to Cambodia, I experienced a lot and am coming home with a lot of work ahead of me... Through 'Dream Village', we dream of a gradual change in the Siem Reap area as we plan little by little, so please watch over us."
