JYP Entertainment has denied that Sun has retired from the Wonder Girls and the entertainment industry.
On December 10, a rep from JYP announced, "Sun still has a contract. What she said wasn't something agreed upon by the company, and we have nothing to say as of now," in response to what the Wonder Girls member stated late last week. The newlywed idol and her husband have made new lives for themselves doing missionary work in Haiti, and she implied that she has no intention of returning to entertainment.
At a concert held at Calvary Church in East Brunswick, New Jersey on the 5th, Sun told the congregation, "I enjoyed my life as a singer, but I want to share the love of Jesus. There's no return to the entertainment industry. I will live my entire life spreading the gospel."
Do you think Sun has effectively retired? What do you make of her statement?
