Producers of the musical 'All Shook Up' have expressed their intent to take legal action against Megan Lee.
Reps of 'All Shook Up' stated that Megan Lee left the production without proper discussion, she was absent from practice sessions, and she avoided communication. King and I Company said, "There were setbacks to the shows because she missed two practice sessions and didn't respond to our calls. Afterwards, she sent a one-sided statement that she would be leaving the cast."
The production company further stated that she quit the musical without discussion from her agency Soul Shop Entertainment, "It was three days until opening, and her leave, which was without discussion with Soul Shop Entertainment, caused setbacks to the concert schedule. We're apologetic to the disappointed audience who waited."
King and I Company alleged that because Megan Lee caused disgrace to the producers and to prevent incidents like this in the future, the company will be considering legal action.
