Actress Lee Young Ah was belatedly revealed to have butted heads with her agency, Saetbyul-dang Entertainment, on October 17. Her agency now assures media outlets that their strife has already been resolved.
A rep said on October 17, "Lee Young Ah took part in appearing in SBS's new drama 'Run, Jangmi,' without discussing this beforehand with the agency. We filed a suit with the Korean Entertainment Management Association through which we later also reached an agreement.
Lee Young Ah personally said she wanted to work alone and requested a cancellation of the contract. We did not want to create a bad situation with an actor, so we sued through the Korean Entertainment Management Association. After our agreement, we nullified the official contract on October 13."
