Jung Yoo Mi is known for her roles in the drama series 'Discovery of Love' and 'I Need a Romance' where she took on roles to show her foxy, impossible-to-hate charms. However, the actress recently took on a whole new role in 'Man Hole', changing up the pace.
Jung Yoo Mi expressed the regret she felt while filming the movie. She said, "I shouldn't be expressing my discontent, but it's hard to hide it. If I didn't then there would have been nothing to say [during the press conference]. It's not that there was anything wrong with the movie, but it's just how I felt. I was disappointed that the scenes where Kim Sae Ron and I were lacking, but there was nothing disappointing about the movie as a whole."
She continued, "It's not me who completes [the movie]. It was the decisions that were made by others. It's not just the director's decision alone, but it was multiple decisions. That's the part that is the most disappointing."

Overall, the actress believed that the scenario for the movie was clean, which ultimately made her want to take on the role. She revealed she felt that the material was new and the characters were distinct. Although she had doubts about how to portray the feeling of being inside a manhole, the actress took it as a challenge and went forward with the filming.
Jung Yoo Mi also revealed that she is a fan of thriller movies and have been wanting to try different roles. She said, "I like these kinds of genres, and if there were ghosts in the movie then it would have been a different sensation. Kim Sae Ron and I were in the position of just acting out what was happening in that situation. It wasn't like we were looking at ghosts, so there wasn't much resistance."
The three lead roles, who were previously labelmates, in the movie presented great synergy onscreen. The actress revealed that even though she wasn't necessarily close with Jung Kyung Ho or Kim Sae Ron, she felt comfortable and close when acting alongside them.
She said, "I don't know how Sae Ron feels, but for me, it felt like we were just friends. WIth Jung Kyung Ho, we were acquainted, but we didn't have many scenes together."
