Comedian Kim Ji Min talked about her period of anonymity during the October 30 edition of KBS 2TV's 'Happy Together 3,' revealing that she had felt slighted by a popular girl group member during that time.
She said, "I debuted and briefly went through fame from being on KBS 2TV's 'Gag Concert' in 2006, then I went through a period of anonymity from 2007 to 2011. It was very hard during that time and as I had no money, I even took part in broadcasts during that time without even knowing my appendix had burst," revealing she had just thought it was a stomachache and took part in broadcasts anyway.
The MCs then asked about a time she had supposedly been slighted by a girl group. Wondering if she could talk about this, Kim Ji Min then continued, "During that period, I ?was asked to host a very famous girl group fan meeting event. I went and saw it was an event with just ten fans," showing it was a very private and special event.

Kim Ji Min explained that she was about to start emceeing the event, but one member of the girl group said to her, "But I watch a lot of gag concerts... who are you? I never saw you before." Kim Ji Min explained that was suddenly said in front of all the fans when it had not been necessary, so that she was very embarrassed. She then explained what segments she had acted in and more, but the member kept saying she couldn't recall anything about the comedian.
When asked how many members were in the girl group, Kim Ji Min said she could not reveal this because then it would make it too obvious. She also revealed that when she was trending back in 2006, the girl group had even visited her waiting room when they had just begun in entertainment and had greeted her, but they had changed so suddenly since then, suggesting it was after they rose to fame.
