On July 31, Hwang Jung Eum met up with reporters at the SBS Drama Production Center for the 'Endless Love' press conference and discussed her torture scene in the series.

She said, "At the beginning of the production, there were body doubles, and I got to try new things, so it was extremely fun. Recently, I filmed a scene in which I get tortured. In that case, I had to do it myself." Hwang Jung Eum explained, "I actually got slapped. When I get hit for real, I get angry, so my feelings came out. I think acting goes well if you get hit once. In particular, I'd never experienced a torture scene before, so it was even harder."
