On the January 1st broadcast of 'Radio Star', MC Yoon Jong Shin asked, "I heard that Subin tried out for Dohee's role on 'Reply 1994'... [Hong] Jin Young also tried out." Kim Gu Ra went straight to the point and asked, "Did you get dropped from Dohee's role?" Subin hesitantly replied, "Yes..."�Kim Gu Ra added, "Hong Jin Young said she also got the part but she couldn't take it due to her schedule."

Subin shared her similar situation, "I also thought I would get the part..." The MCs asked, "How did you act for your audition?"�Subin then read some lines in her speedy satoori to which�Yoon Jong Shin commented, "You have a Nambugun [southern army] tone." Kim Gu Ra was also brutally honest as he reviewed her fake audition, "It's a slightly theatrical tone."
