On this day, the prosecution office decided on a one year suspended prison sentence of 6 months for these three celebrities, saying, "Although they have a crazy influence on society as public figures and the nature of their crime was bad, they admitted to the crime and showed their deep regret and self-reflection. In addition, they have not committed a similar crime and said they would prevent a second conviction, so considering their age, criminal intent, and circumstances, Tony An, Lee Soo Geun, and Tak Jae Hoon will face a suspended sentence of six months in jail."

This suspended sentence means that the defendants will be serving a one year probation period and as long as they don't break the law, they will most likely avoid the 6 month prison term as the judge will usually throw out the sentence.
The three of them revealed they would accept this judgment without appealing. Lee Soo Geun's party told Newsen on the same day, "We have no plans of appealing. This will be a time for me to self-reflect." Tak Jae Hoon said, "I will accept the decision without appealing," while Tony said he would not appeal, either.
The men had admitted to gambling millions of won (hundreds of thousands of US dollars) on sports through illegal gambling websites. The penalty originally demanded of them had been ten months in prison and two years of probation for Tony An, eight months of prison and two years of probation for Lee Soo Geun, and four months of prison and two years of probation for Tak Jae Hoon. However, it appears all three will have six months of prison time, suspended for one year.
In the case of Andy and Boom, they received a fine of 5 million won ($4,700 USD) last month while Yang Se Hyung received a fine of 3 million won ($2,800 USD).
