The Boyz's leader Sangyeon will soon become the first member of his group to begin his mandatory military service duties.
On January 23 KST, The Boyz's management label ONE HUNDRED revealed,
"Hello, this is ONE HUNDRED.
We would like to notify you regarding The Boyz member Sangyeon's military enlistment.
Sangyeon, who applied for a position in the ROK Army's military band, received his acceptance notice on January 23 KST. His enlistment date is March 17 KST.
In order to prevent any safety concerns and chaos caused by overcrowding, there will be no events held on the day of his enlistment. Please understand that this decision was made out of respect for fellow new recruits enlisting on the same day and their families, and so we ask that fans do not visit the enlistment site.
Sangyeon plans on making many memories with his fans right up until his enlistment day.
Please send Sangyeon your love and support as he prepares to fulfill his duties to the country diligently and return healthy.

Meanwhile, The Boyz will be greeting their fans at their upcoming fan-con, 'The B Land', taking place in Seoul for 3-days from January 31 through February 2 at the KSPO Dome. The fan-con is also scheduled to take place in Japan from February 22-23 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo.
