Kang Won Rae sent out a heartfelt apology to a fan he was afraid he might have offended.
The former member of the dance duo Clon tweeted, "I was on a wheelchair lift at a subway station but someone followed me on the stairs and asked for my autograph but I refused. It was because I was embarrassed and also thought it was dangerous... I think I may have hurt their feelings so I am sorry. I offer my heartfelt apologies. I am sorry." He also uploaded a picture of the stairway at the subway station with his tweet.
Netizens who saw the photograph and his words tried to cheer him up by telling him that it was probably the right thing to do at the time and that the fan who asked for his autograph during then was the one at fault.
However, Kang Won Rae then tweeted, "Please don't side with me. It's 100% my fault. When that person told me 'I'm sorry' and turned back around, I knew right then that I had made a mistake and honestly regretted it."
Kang Won Rae is confined to a wheelchair due to a car accident he was in back in 2000, but still makes appearances from time to time and gives inspiration and courage to others as he aims to live his life out to the fullest.
