SISTAR's Hyorin expressed she wanted to be on the same '2012 SBS Gayo Daejun' team as SECRET's Sunhwa.

Hyorin attended the press conference for the year-end special on the 23rd. When asked who she wanted to team up with for the event, she answered, "I think everyone is good, but I want to do it with Sunhwa. We're the same age, and we're pretty close. Sunhwa is good-natured, so I think if I'm with her I'll have fun. I'd be able to make a lot of memories with her as we practice." She also joked, "The After School members are too tall, so it's a bit burdensome for me."

She decided to participate in the project called 'The Color of K-Pop'. It was previously announced that INFINITE's Woohyun and Hoya, 2AM's Jokwon and Jinwoon, MBLAQ's G.O and Lee Joon, B2ST's Kikwang and Yoseob, and TEEN TOP's Niel and L.Joe would be forming two male groups for the end of the year festival. On top of this, SISTAR's Hyorin and Bora, 4minute's HyunA and Gayoon, SECRET's Hyosung and Sunhwa, After School's Lizzy and Nana, and KARA's Nicole and Jiyoung will be forming two girl groups.

The groups will be named 'Dynamic Black', 'Dynamic Blue', 'Dazzling Red', and 'Mystic White', and will feature songs from Shinsadong Tiger, Sweet Tune, Brave Brothers, and Kim Do Hoon. The group members will be chosen through viewers votes.

Hyorin commented, "We've never tried something like this, and I think it's a good attempt. I thought it would be a good experience and memory, so I wanted to do it no matter what. I think it'll be good for me to work with members from other groups."
