"Nation's MC" Yoo Jae Suk caught the eyes of many viewers during the most recent episode of MBC's 'Come to Play'.
During the "floor concert" segment of the show, famous '80s band Wild Chrysanthemum (Deul Kookhwa) performed their hit song "Please". Yoo Jae Suk was seen wiping his tears during the performance. Kim Won Hee stated afterwards, "I have never seen him sob like this."
Yoo Jae Suk explained, "Watching the three members perform reminded me of the old days, and I couldn't control my emotions. Watching the performance of the band I loved so much as a teen is moving." He then got up from his seat to give the lead singer Jeon In Kwon a hug, and stated, "Thank you so much, hyung."
Netizens commented, "I can understand Yoo Jae Suk's tears. As I watched Wild Chrysanthemum's performance, I got teary too", "I'm expecting more albums from Wild Chrysanthemum", and "Yoo Jae Suk shed tears... cheer up".
Wild Chrysanthemum was a band that was very popular among younger generation during the '80s. The members recently announced the reformation of the band and have been active for the first time in 25 years.
