B.A.P's 'classical instrument ulzzang' Himchan is garnering attention for his "3-second audition".

On September 4 KST, Himchan guested on MBC Radio's 'This is Two O'clock Date with Joo Young Hoon', where he revealed what happened during his audition for B.A.P.

Unlike the other members of B.A.P who went through a rigorous audition process, Himchan was accepted into the group after a meeting. DJ Joo Young Hoon commented, "After one desk meeting at your agency? Ah, that's what's called a '3-second okay'. I heard that there are times when some are 'okayed' even before the music turns on during auditions."

Himchan was known before his debut as a talented ulzzang. He attended the National Korean Traditional Music High School and graduated at 17 with a full scholarship. He is currently studying at Korea National University of Arts.
